Obviously we strongly believe in using sires that are well proven. It would follow that when you find a sire that really "works", that you use that bull again - and, again. That is certainly the case with SHL Phoenix M33 P68 and it is also certainly the case with the sire of 637S. EF J126 CHOICE DOMINO PRO M838 (P42264545) has been proven in our herd as well as many, many others, for passing down excellent performance and outstanding carcass characteristics to his progeny.
The dam of 637S is the 467L cow, a strong producer with outstanding carcass traits (SREA = 109, with an IMF of 5.38%) of her own.

Unfortunately, 637S's first calf came the night of 12 Feb 2008 and was also a victim of the weather and our mismanagement. It was a really beautiful heifer sired by Mo.
Having seen that calf, we could only dream of what she might have been. Well, we could do more - we bred her back to Mo again.
On 6 Oct 2008, she was called "Safe in Calf - a shy 3 months" to FELTONS MO 612 (P42411655) .
